Over the past day, Ukrainian troops destroyed 640 occupants and 22 artillery systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Assessment of enemy combat losses
As of the morning of March 25, total enemy combat losses are estimated as follows:
- Personnel: about 437,390 (+640) people,
- Tanks: 6,887 (+11) units,
- Armored combat vehicles: 13,183 (+25) units,
- Artillery systems: 10,877 (+22) units,
- Missile and artillery systems (MLRS): 1,018 (+0) units,
- Air defense systems: 726 (+3) units,
- Aircraft: 347 (+0) units,
- Helicopters: 325 (+0) units,
- UAVs of operational and tactical level: 8,539 (+29) units.,
- Cruise missiles: 2,010 (+18) units,
- Ships and boats: 26 (+0) units,
- Submarines: 1 (+0) units,
- Motor vehicles and tank trucks: 14,454 (+47) units,
- Special equipment: 1,785 (+7) units.
Information from the front: an overview of the fighting
Over the past day, 60 combat engagements took place. In total, enemy forces carried out 33 missile and 70 air strikes, as well as 91 attacks from multiple rocket launchers, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The situation remains stable in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
In the border areas of the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to maintain its military presence and intensifies sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas. The density of minefields along the state border is also increasing.
In the Kupyansk sector, an enemy attack was repelled near the village of Synkivka in Kharkiv region. In the Liman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled eight attacks near the towns of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Vesele in Donetsk region. In these areas, the enemy tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops, supporting the attack with air power.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian troops repelled eight enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 10 attacks near Berdychi and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhayne. The enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 25 times.
In the Orikhivskyi sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops’ positions 3 times near Staromayorske in the Donetsk region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, but the attacks were repelled.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy continues to try to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, an unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian troops’ positions was recorded.
Ukrainian aviation and missile forces struck eight areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated. They also hit two air defense systems, three artillery systems, and the enemy’s electronic warfare stations.
