The company Maincast, co-owned and backed by investor Maksym Krippa, is launching new TV channels in Ukraine. Their broadcasts will begin on November 30, 2024, via OTT services and cable networks. According to Forbes, citing the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting, both channels will operate 24/7 in Ukrainian.

Maincast Sport will focus on sports content, including international championships featuring Ukrainian athletes. Meanwhile, the Maincast channel will offer entertainment programs for a broad audience. In parallel, Maincast is launching a sports-focused OTT platform, Maincast.tv, which will combine esports broadcasts with other video content.

The company aims to expand the Ukrainian-language media space and attract a new audience. As co-founder Vitaliy Volochay noted, the development strategy involves popularizing esports and creating a unique product capable of competing on the international market.
