It hasn’t been long since S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released. Its sales started this year on November 20. However, in a short period of time, it managed to gather an army of millions of fans. Negotiations with the Netflix streaming platform to create a series based on the game have now begun.
Businessman Maksym Krippa shared some details of this process in an interview with Forbes.

The businessman notes that there are no official agreements on the creation of the series yet. However, Netflix does not hide its interest in such a project.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has already gained millions of fans around the world. This is evidenced by the game’s sales rate. In just 36 hours after its release, more than a million copies were purchased. Such popularity among players is a good prerequisite for expanding this game universe to the Netflix audience.
At the same time, the emergence of a series based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 could become a new milestone in the history of the franchise and further popularize it. The game has several aspects that will contribute to its adaptation. In particular, it has a deep plot. Also, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl contains elements of shooter and survival. According to Maksym Krippa, players themselves support the idea of creating the series. In their opinion, the post-apocalyptic world of the Exclusion Zone can be a good basis for the plot of a television show.
