There is a new sexual assault scandal at the Ivan Karpenko-Kary National University of Theater, Cinema, and Television in Kyiv. This time, a teacher and director, Andriy Bilous, is accused of harassing female students.
The demand for publicity and reform of the educational institution appeared on the FB page of Yanina Sokolova, a graduate of the university.
Harassment of teachers and terrible conditions
A well-known TV journalist wrote that on January 20, an anonymous video was posted on YouTube in which a teacher, Andriy Bilous, was accused of sexually harassing female students.
It should be noted that this is not the first case. Last year, a 78-year-old university lecturer, Volodymyr Talashko, was suspected of similar behavior.
Yanina Sokolova said that she graduated from the university in 2007, so she has every right to share her thoughts on the matter.
Thus, she mentioned that she had repeatedly witnessed conversations about harassment by teachers. Yanina also spoke about the terrible state of the dormitory and the university itself. And since then, the journalist noted, the situation there has not changed for the better.
At the same time, according to Sokolova, the university administration is silent and does not support the students, or fiercely denies the accusations.
In her post, the former student of Karpenko-Kary University called on all victims of sexual harassment to report these facts to her, as the journalist’s team is collecting material to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Earlier it was reported that the director of one of the largest banks in Ukraine financed the Russian army.
